So a few days ago I posted this Atlantic-Pacific look and said it had too much leather. bj1111 asked how I'd improve it.

Etoile Isabel Marant tweed jacket, Acne oversized blouse, leather leggings, taupe Isabel Marant Dicker boots and Lord and Taylor big hat.

Love those booties on you. So fab. So is the jacket. Seems to fit right into the season, too, without screaming "Christmas!!!!"

Anna this looks great. LOVE that jacket! I liked AP's version minus the hat. Sometimes, in fact a lot of the time, I find her outfits too contrived, despite the fact that I do like re outfits. I think you have nailed this. It's a much more "natural" look on you Anna and the hat works better for you that AP.

Your outfit is so much better. I love everything about this. And I think the hat suit you better than her. The curly hair works better with the hat.
ETA: where are the leather leggings from? They look fantastic on you.

This works really well - I like the proportions, the soft lighter coloured blouse and as Denise mentioned, your hair looks fantastic from under the hat. Great look Anna!
Oh, I like both your outfit AND AP's! Love the mix of the tweed (okay, it looks like tweed to me) with the leather.

Denise, the leather leggings I got two years ago on the sale rack at Nordies. They were around $250, which I now I realize is a screaming deal. I need to get the waist band fixed up, the stitching is coming undone and I think the elastic needs replacing. They sat idle in my closet for over a year, and only now decided to give them another go.

Beautiful interpretation of the ap look. I love all the subtle colors and the mix of textures. Is that a new shade of lipstick? It looks really good on you.

Very chic, but far more "approachable" than the blogger version. I could see this with a cloche for the hat as well.

Such a gorgeous look! I do prefer your version. The jacket and leggings were absolutely gorgeous together. i WANT that jacket. it's amazing. And you have great legs for this type of pant (unlike, ahem, moi).
