No Scrubs

 I decided to pair my sweater with my R13 harem jeans and dove grey LD Tuttle The Moon wedge sandals. Also with my clear bead and grey leather necklace and white watch.

So this is finally what I settled on for Rockabilly, Blues and Burlesque show. I had some awesome nylons that had black stars scattered across a nude background but I put a hole in them putting them on. They were brand new. So I reverted to the fishnets. Worn with my found black suede shorts, semi-sheer Acne blouse and fringe suede boots. Underneath I'm wearing a Marlie Dekkers bra that has multiple straps and hardware on it. This is defnitiely not everyone's cup of tea but I think it works for the event.
Appropriately enough my red lipstick is Moulin Rouge by MakeUpForever.

I decided to do the best copy I could come up with. Banana Republic chambray shirt, Gap boyfriend jeans, LD Tuttle The Creature heeled gladiator sandals (my very first pair of LD Tuttle's ever). I don't have gumball pearls, so I wore my Target mixed pearl and chain necklace. Over it my Maison Martin Margiela for H&M oversized deconstructed leather moto and white calf hair bag.
I wish I had a more faded denim shirt though.

Couldn't find my suede shorts. I thought I had nude fishnets, but they were black. Did find still in the bag a pair of Jaguar patterned Marc by Marc Jacobs fancy shorts I got at the Rack eons ago. Worn with my Club Monaco tuxedo jacket, Brooks Brothers no-iron shirt and Miu Miu moto booties.
Seriously I need to do a closet sort.

Trying to inject spring into a cold Northwest day. Oversized mint Acne sweater, Mary Katrantzou scarf, white skinnies and rose gold oxfords. I'm not sure if the gold in the scarf quite goes with the mint sweater.

but didn't break SYC. I wear Target tank tops (thanks Janet for tipping me off on those) under my scrubs and under my sacroiliac belt, so the belt won't rub against raw skin. I used to have a two week supply when I was working 4-10's, now that I'm doing 5-8's I needed a couple more. I got hot pink and neon orange.
They did have a bunch Prabal Gurung stuff on clearance in my size, but I held fast. Also bought some self-tanner on sale so I don't scare the Austinites with my northwest winter white legs.

Have a coffee date this morning. Hoping the big cream cabled sweater hides the less than stellar fit on these bronze shorts I got from Gilt. Worn with my Marni black and gold brogues. 1st picture is without flash, 2nd picture is with flash.

Going to a wine tasting this afternoon, then dinner with a friend. We're going to check out a new, highly rated Asian fusion restaurant.
