WIW 9/12 Double denim

Old Banana Republic chambray shirt, True Religion Cameron boyfriend jeans and Acne Pistol boots. I put my hair up in a high pony tail instead of a clip and headband for a change.
Also should I look for a more faded true denim shirt?

I like the darker denim with the lighter. Why no belt? (I don't say it would be better with one, but I am wondering how you decided.)

That was the first thing I thought too!

I like the different weight/colours together.

I love a denim on denim look. I much prefer the dark denim matched with the light, so the shirt looks perfect to my eye.

Although matching the denim shirt with the jeans means you're wearing a two-piece jumpsuit, which could be a fun look too.

I tried a black and white studded belt because I was going to wear my studded dirty white Isabel Marant boots. But the belt was too busy. Decided it looked cleaner without a belt, more minimalist.

I like the two different shades of denim. And those boots are so cute!

I like the darker denim shirt with the lighter jeans. I have a poison eye towards denim on denim looks where the two denims are very close in wash (comes from living in the southwest where it's a common look) so I like the contrasting denims more than I would if the shirt were light like the jeans.

A low contrast belt would have created a minimal look too.

I like the denim on denim, and I like the contrasting colors. Less matchy, but intentionally so.

Ooh, what Angie said about a two piece jumpsuit! Really love those jeans on you.

I like the contrast between denims but want a minimal belt, too. Or even a matte metallic - that would be low contast on denim.

    Love it!

I'm going to be contrarian and say I still like better without a belt. Besides this is for commuting, and I'm dealing with the repercussions of being rear-ended last night, so my caring about getting it perfect are exceedingly low.

Anna, I am sorry you got rear-ended. I don't think anyone was suggesting that you had to wear a belt, sorry to bring up a touchy subject.

How did I miss this?  Love the light-and-dark denim mix!  Sorry about the rear-ender!!

More outfit love from me. I feel inspired.
