WIW 6/24 an attempt or basically a reinterpretation

So MsMary already did an absolutely stunning job on this outfit.
http://funwithfashion.lookfab......te-oxfords

But I needed to at least try something, anything. I do not have plaid blazer, nor black and white oxfords. I do have a shrunken tipped blazer Thom Browne for Neiman Marcus x Target (by the way I have had this jacket for over a year now, and only now snipped off the threads closing the rear vent. The shame!). A plaid shirt from Marshall's years ago. R13 shredded jeans and Prada white golf shoes.
I was riding the bus this morning to work and a fellow passenger asked my about my jeans. He asked me if I bought my jeans like this. He said it happened to his jeans in the washing machine and it was probably about to happen to his current jeans as they don't make jean cotton the same anymore. Judging by the multitude of plastic bags he was carrying with his stuff, he was either homeless or of a very low socioeconomic status. I actually felt a bit guilty about my jeans, considering they're made in Italy and all. He also asked about my Pendleton messenger bag, thought the pattern was Guatemalan.

I love the look!  Totally on trend in a way that's just right.

    Killer

    I love your interpretation.

Hectically distressed jeans evoke emotions, don't they?

    Another fantastic Pinterest interpretation!

Love your version Anna, especially the loafers.

I love the golf shoes with this jacket and the juxtaposition of both with the plaid shirt and distressed jeans.

Great interpretation - I love the white accents and the shoes are fantastic. The bus incident is food for thought but it sounds like you made him feel good about his jeans and he was pleased about the whole thing.

Great mix of blazer and jeans.

I love (most) conversations on the bus.  It's a true mixing of different kinds of people who ordinarily never talk.  This conversation went well!

Oh I hadn't seen Ms. Mary's version. You guys are so kool, you need to start a supper club!

I always love it when you take something preppy and mix it up with some crazier stuff. You do that juxtaposition so well! You look great.
And the guy on the bus? At least you had a chat with him. He probably went about his day thinking he had a nice talk to a lady about the state of denim "these days"...

I love the way the plaid pattern, the striped effect of the tipped jacket, and the rip and repair squares all work together harmoniously thanks to the consistent blue and white color scheme.  You are a master stylist Anna.
