WOW! I always love to see your looks, you are daring with fashion! love

I kind of want to see the sleeves rolled/scrunched up. It's so great that those culottes became such a workhorse for you! Love the plaid and the booties.

I like the outfit! I'm trying to see the zipper yoke detail but can't make it out, though I love the soft look of the blouse and the just-right amount of roominess. Those booties are fab.

p.s. And great transition dressing--a nod to fall, with bare legs for a warm day.

Pioneer Hipster indeed. I love the mirrored sunnies with the look. Adds a good dose of futuristic to the country vibe.

Janet, I don't scrunch my sleeves. Another point I zag when the forum zigs.
Firecracker, the zipper is on the back, mostly covered by my hair.

You converted me to culottes.  Appreciate your zaggy individuality!  That lip color is very nice on you Anna!

Once again, juxtapositions that would never occur to me.   Want. those. boots.

Oh, I like Pioneer Hipster! If it's not Country Punk, it's got to be Country Punk's shadow style :D

  • Suzanne (ambergreen) replied 9 years ago

    Fun! Also loving the boots!

I don't mind you zagging Anna :) I see what Angie means about the sunnies. They juxtapose nicely with the country vibe of the plaid. Great colours in the shirt too.

  • Tanya replied 9 years ago

Stunning as usual.  Love the lipstick.

  • Emily replied 9 years ago

I really like the plaid with the boots...not feeling it with the culottes though.  I think it borders on frumpy (sorry).

  • catgirl replied 9 years ago

I'm trying to love the culottes but the combination of wash, embroidery and cut is too normcore (or maybe mymomcore) for me.  Everything else I would steal from you!

  • Gigi replied 9 years ago

I too like how the sunnies "up" the style of the outfit from its humble "country" style.

Your hair looks especially nice today. I wish my hair looked like yours! :)

  • annagybe replied 9 years ago

Yes it's frumpy, though more fashiony than normcore. But see La Garconne, Totokaelo & Creatures of Comfort. There is a whole subgenre of fashion with this look. Conventionally flattering is rarely one of my goals. It might be a bit contrived, but so what. It's not a t-shirt & jeans.

  • Chris29 replied 9 years ago

Love it from the waist up and the ankles down. Just not digging the dirndl style of the culottes, but the overall vibe suits you to a T.

  • ironkurtin replied 9 years ago

    I love jeans and tshirts.

I'm with the group that enjoys each piece on you, but not so much together (not digging how some of my favorite sales sites are showing it either).
