WIW 9/13 Birthday Party Edition

It's my birthday! I'm hosting a small party at my place. The theme is "It's my birthday and I'm cheesed off". Well not really but I'm serving two different cheeses. My first degree came from Washington State University and the have an on campus dairy that they produce cheese and ice cream made by students. The Cougar Gold is very famous and hard to get.

In Seattle we have Beecher's cheese. Some speculate their flagship is an attempt at Cougar Gold.

Wearing Vince cashmere halter, Eileen Fisher silk track pants, Miu Miu rhinestone heeled boots and the cherry on top, literally, a Piers Atkinson headpiece.

    Happy Birthday! Seeing you in a halter gives me hope that it won't be too cold when I get there at the end of the month. Lovely all black outfit. And I'm glad those are cherries. I would sure hate to have someone trying to shoot the apple off your head. ;)  Have a blast at your party!

    I was in grad school at Texas A&M and there was an on campus creamery that served wonderful ice cream.

    Oh yay!!!! I'm glad you kept the cherries after all. Love them with the all black and all that drape. The boots are awesome.

    The cherry on top is pure awesomeness!  THIS is the perfect time for that headband.  Perfect.  Love the idea of throwing your own party and the theme is great fun.  Hope you had a blast.  Looking fab as can be in your party wear!

    Thanks everyone. It was big hit. It has a headband with a comb. Held on pretty well through out the night.
    I forgot to ask my friends though which cheese was better.

    You look lovely! I love the drapey fluid top and bottoms.  And the cherries (which could only be better if they were apples!).

    I hope your party was a huge hit! 

    (BTW, Cougar Gold is my fave.  I always order it for the holidays.  Nothing compares!)
