Spent the entire day in training. Most of it sending dagger eyes to the woman who kept derailing the training and bringing up things not germane to the subject.
Wearing an old orphan Helmut Lang jacket. I had this in the sell pile, but it was chilly today. I finally realized this looks much better with a skirt than pants or jeans. I think I saved it. Striped midi skirt from a local boutique and Acne Pistol boots.
Boots generated lots of comments.

Huge fan of those boots, I enjoy seeing them every time ^^ I did a little double-take at the hemline shape, I think I'm too used to seeing things curve the other way (up in the middle, down on the sides). This feels fresh. The jacket's diagonal looks really fun against the horizontal stripes, too. Really like the soft pink glossy lip with this.

Nice save with the jacket! I can see how it wouldn't work with pants but it's great with the skirt. And those boots are awesome.

Boots kick a**! Did you keep the jacket on all day? What's under it? Looks good zipped up though.
I am probably one of those chatty derailers....will be on the lookout for dagger eyes next time I am in a training session. -

Haha! The most frustrating part about people like that woman you describe is that they never *notice* the dagger eyes. ;)

Oooh I love this. In particular I love how the jacket zipper is on a diagonal, and the skirt stripes are vertical. Then there are the BOOTS. Perfect touch.
