WIW 6/30 Minimalist stripes

So I found this striped midi skirt and pleather fronted tank top at a local boutique. I think the skirt is similar to one Angie put in her finds recently. I sized up to large because the medium showed every underwear lump and bump.
I thought of doing a big necklace, then a bunch of gold bracelets, but finally decided to go minimal with my white Movado watch,  white calf hair cross body and LD Tuttle sandals.

Kind of an oxymoron, but this is truly minimally spectacular. I really love this, Anna and hope the boy has an opportunity to see it too. You'll knock his hiking socks off.

  • Echo replied 10 years ago

This is an AMAZING outfit on you; you truly look fantastic. I really hope the boy sees this, too - it is that flattering!

WOW!  This is one of my faves on you :-)  You've been simplifying your outfits quite a bit lately, and the results are SO powerful and confident!!  I hope you felt every bit as fab in this outfit as you looked!!

  • Beth Ann replied 10 years ago

Gorgeously bold and minimal.  Well, you may have limited time for fashion, but you are making the most of every minute!

  • rae replied 10 years ago

STRIKING. Something about the minimal b/w really makes your golden hair pop. Love it, makes me want to nab the Vince Camuto skirt to copy.

  • Mo replied 10 years ago

Logging in to say - this rocks!  Especially like that you kept it minimal.  Lets the outfit speak for itself without distractions of arm candy or chunky statement necklace.  Perfect.

  • chewyspaghetti replied 10 years ago

Looks great- your hair is looking so fabulous lately!

  • Gabrielle replied 10 years ago

You look incredible.  This is one of my favorites among your postings.

  • rachylou replied 10 years ago

I like the wide width of your stripes here. They have to be wide to be on-trend, and these are totally.

  • Thistle replied 10 years ago

You knocked this out of the park!!!  Fabulous!

You are making your free time count!

  • Ana replied 10 years ago

  • Sarah A replied 10 years ago

Amazing! Love the wide stripe and the cut of the top's hem. Minimal accessories was totally the right choice. Im pinning this one too!

  • Deborah replied 10 years ago

Anna, I'm not sure how I missed this but I had to drop by and say "wow". I love this on you. Stunning.

  • Eliza replied 10 years ago

How did I miss this one?  Love the ease and simplicity of this outfit.  Each piece shines and the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.  Gorgeous.

  • Parsley replied 10 years ago

I'm struggling to find a superlative that hasn't already been said. This outfit is STELLAR! One of my favorites ever.

  • Vicki replied 10 years ago

How did I miss this, Anna?!  Thanks to Parsley, I was able to find this thread.  I am copying you once I get my VC striped tube skirt, which I just ordered today.  I love your outfit and while I have a fitted leather tank that probably won't work, I'm going to come up with something to "copy" you.

    Phenomenally fantastic, all of it.
