No Scrubs

WIW 5/29 riffing on a pin

So I have done an outfit based on this pin before with all the layers. Today I decided to do a late spring variation.

Zara pearl and rhinestone collar, Kenzo sweatshirt, Club Monaco cropped, pleated pants and Balcienaga Ceinture cut-out boots.
Also I finally broke down and bought a mixed plant pot for my deck, with purple flowers.

    This is really so very fashion forward.  I really enjoy the play on proportions. You a killing me with the socks.  You made them work.  I have been playing around with the socks and  cut out .  I think that I am going to go ham and borrow this styling.  Great job.

    Loving those awesome boots!  Love the way you have styled this, and the proportions seem spot on to my eye (which can be so hard with cropped pants!).   The Kenzo sweatshirt pairs perfectly, and the collar peeking out on it adds a fun element.

    Killer. (Those warm socks are just right for today, but warmer weather is thankfully on the horizon).

    Fun proportions, textures and layered details, Anna. I love the pretty that you added with the sparkle. This is a pretty and powerful look. The two are not mutually exclusive in my mind.

    I LOVE the length and fit of the trousers. So flattering.

    Oooh this is a great riff! Very clever to use a collar for the collar part in spring, since the layers wouldn't read as springy (but pfff we have the weather for proper layers today, don't we!). Is there a little necklace with the collar or is that part of it? GREAT textural mix here, seriously fun. And my favorite two details are the socks and your hair, they just give this that something extra ^^

    Very nice! I like how you brought together the cropped pants, the socks, and the shoes. That is no small feat! And the collar on the top is so cool.

    I love those CM cropped pants! I think you do a great job wearing sweatshirts with logos. And the shoes are amazing of course!

    I like your version better than the pin too! The collar and the sweatshirt look especially great together.
