WIW 5/25 Maximal with a shot of prep.

Decided to wear my sort of orphaned red-orange leather pants with my Laurence Dacade patchwork denim boots. Added my ALC twisted hem striped sweater, Neiman Marcus x Target by Thom Browne tipped navy blazer, Theyskens' Theory flame cross body and Zara necklace. Lipstick is Nars Heat Wave, an orange red that matches the pants.

I just realized that this is very matchy-matchy. Normally something I'm adverse to.

  • MsMary replied 10 years ago

Maybe you should re-think that aversion, because you are rocking teh matchyies!

Hmmm...matchy-matchy and, quite possibly, patriotic. Intentional or not, it is a LOT of fun!

WOW, Anna, this is superb! I just LOVE the bag with the pants and the stripes. That is inspired. And yes, it's playfully, maybe ironically patriotic, too.

Those pants are gorgeous and really flattering.

    *WOW*

KILLER to the power of KILLER

So fun I can't stand it!!! I love the way the classic vibe of the striped shirt and jacket complement the fashion forward fabness of the rest of the outfit!! It's just the very best recipe in my book.

Now excuse me while I faint from your sizzling style quotient...

Wow. London street scene crossed with la dolce vita - love it :)

Made me smile. Get those pants out of retirement. :-)

Amazing composition. I'm really impressed at how you put all those pieces together. You look great!

    Wow a K2K!

I spent most of the day trying to sell some sandals. First consignment store loved my outfit and asked when I would sell. Also got compliments from the staff at Buffalo Exchange.

These pants are a bit hard to style because they're a bit short and not really cropped enough. The taller boots hide the fit issues.

Great look!  It is very maximal but I think the consistent color palette makes it work.

This is incredible!  I don't know how you manage to put together all these statement pieces in one outfit and yet it somehow looks totally cohesive and amazing.  And I gotta say, since nobody else has mentioned it, your shades are so cool and they totally up the wow factor of the outfit even more.
