WIW 3/8 evening edition and Angie challenge ETA Pic

Angie recently challenged me to wear my sneakers with a full skirt.
Going out to dinner with Dad to celebrate him going home. He's leaving tomorrow.
ALC striped sweater, Elizabeth and James full skirt and Isabel Marant gold wedge sneakers.

Well unfortunately you'll just have to imagine it, because I can't seem to upload my picture.
ETA here's the pic.

It's been forever since I've seen one of your cool outfits ... I will simply have to imagine it ...

    Just added the photo.

I wasn't sure what the skirt length would be. This is even better than I imagined. You have the best legs Anna.

    You look gorgeous.

Very fun outfit! What a great way to wear sassy sneakers. Spunky style.

Great illustration of sassy sneakers! Do you think these would work with pencil shapes, too? Glad to hear your Dad is well enough to return home!

Oh, nice job Anna! You've styled the whole outfit really well. I hope Dad appreciated it too. :)

Great outfit! I love those gold sneakers!

So great your Dad is well enough to go home!

Fun! The gold sneaks really pop against the black. Congrats to you and your dad!

Way to rock the casual sneaker look in such an on trend way, just superb.

  • Angie replied 11 years ago

I love this, Anna! A little Harajuku. A little romantic, but "off-kilter" in that special Anna way as soon as you add the sci-fi sneaks :)

You look sweet and innocent in this outfit. Did you like it? That's the most important thing.

I had a dream about you wearing roomy faux leather overalls the other night. And it looked amazing!

The pairing of the full skirt and the gold is so inspired. Girly, yet not, just adore that. You look fantastic!

  • annagybe replied 11 years ago

Thanks everyone. I think it would have worked better without tights, but it's still too cold here.

Success! Shoes are fab. So celebratory! Speaking of overalls, I saw a pair of fuchsia suede ones on shopbop that made me think of you. Not sure if you do fuchsia. His chambray patchwork ones are awesome too.

Yeah I saw those overalls before. Can't find my size anywhere on the internet. I really like them.

  • Ingunn replied 11 years ago

Brilliant outfit! I agree with Denise, you have great legs.

  • Suz replied 11 years ago

Oh - this is fun and unique. I love the skirt!!

So cute and I love your smile and hope you and Dad enjoyed yourselves. You met the challenge and now it seems like Angie's got another one for you with her dream of faux leather overalls, although when I first read it, I thought it was faux fur overalls. Shows you where my head was at (but, wouldn't that be fun!)

Oh man, Anna, I don't want to be a spanner (as Angie says) but I SO wish that top were a little bit more fitted. You have such a bombshell figure it seems a shame not to play it up with something a *little bit* more shaped with that skirt.

    So much fun!

Love the sneakers and arm candy co-ordinating with each other - totally fab Anna look.
