WIW 2/27 trying to get my mojo back

I realized I said I was taking a break, but AJ recently posted this challenge to MaryK

http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ging-maryk

And I wanted to try something to get the spark back.
I realized I had a pastel striped sweater and mint jeans, paired with my leopard smoking slippers. I couldn't decide on rolling the jeans or not. What do you think?
Taking my Dad to see the surgeon for a follow up and the dentist for me, so not exactly a fun day.

You look lovely in mint! I think the leopard as the shoes works much better than in the inspiration photo. Hope your day gets better!

  • Angie replied 11 years ago

I love these pastels on you! Will you wear your pastel clutch too?

    KILLER - and I prefer #2 - but then you know I love a good scrunch :)

You look plenty mojo-rich to me!

Good luck with today and shout if you need support. xo

Sorry that your day isn't so fun, but you do look awesome. Totally loving those mint jeans with the leopard flats.

  • Tina.b replied 11 years ago

I think you look just stunning in pastels, they suit your complexion brilliantly! Love the top and the mint jeans together (now adding mint jeans to my wishlist), and the shoes tie in so well. I hope that looking fab makes a not so fun day a little more tolerable. :)

  • MsMary replied 11 years ago

    BEAUTIFUL!!!

    I love it best unrolled!

  • Ingunn replied 11 years ago

You look terrific! The pastels and leopard play brilliantly together. I prefer #2 as well. Good luck with the doctor's and dentist's appointments.

  • rae replied 11 years ago

Well the fun in the outfit hopefully makes up for some of the un-fun activities. :) I love it both ways, actually. Slight preference for the roll, but if you have cold ankles, the full length is awesome, too.

You are such a good daughter. You're why many people have children!

I love these colors on you.

Side note - waiting to see the floral moto again! I so could not rock that, but I so enjoy that you can.

  • Tanya replied 11 years ago

First of all, I am so happy your are posting again! Yay! I really miss your outfits, you are such an inspiration for me! And good luck with all the stressful appointment today.

I love the outfit, I think you completely nailed it. Mint is becoming your signature color, whenever I see it somewhere I can't help but think of you. I also prefer he pants unrolled.

  • Raisin replied 11 years ago

The leopard goes so well with the mint! Love these jeans, I have been wanting to try out mint jeans too. They look great with your skin tone. I am afraid I'm too pale for them, but I might try them out!

  • deb replied 11 years ago

    I vote unrolled.

  • Suz replied 11 years ago

#2 is gorgeous!! Love you in these soft pastels. I hope the day isn't too awful - and it's nice to see you back.

  • Mona replied 11 years ago

Ooooh! you have plenty of mojo. Love your pastels and leopard flats together. Hope your appointments go well and that your dad is feeling better.

  • shedev replied 11 years ago

    Anna, you wear pastels beatifully.

  • Inge replied 11 years ago

A wonderful outfit, Anna. I love the soft colours in your sweater paired with the mint skinnies and the spunk of the leopard print slipper flats. Glad to see you post again too!
Good luck with the not so fun day, hopefully your fab outfit will make you smile regardless.

  • RoseandJoan replied 11 years ago

I love this Anna, if the weather is not too cold I have a slight preference for the jeans cuffed as it seems to balance the dark collar on the jumper.

I lost my mojo last year, it turned up when I was least expecting it (I think it was down the sofa with that missing sock). Just remember to be kind to yourself.

  • replied 11 years ago

    You never lost tha' mojo.
pastels look really spectacular on you.

By the way, I just had lunch with my friend, who picked up the first necklace. She asked about you;) She is still talking about the Theo chocolates, especially the one called salted something.

  • Transcona Shannon replied 11 years ago

Well haven't you returned with a bang! This is fabulous on you Anna - I love you in these cream and pastel shades. And with pastels trending big this spring, it will be YOUR season!

  • catgirl replied 11 years ago

You look fantastic in these light colors. That's why it's so important to see pieces on people.

  • cciele replied 11 years ago

Love your interpretation of pastels and leopard! The colors are beautiful on you. I have a slight preference for rolled, but both work.

  • rachylou replied 11 years ago

You are looking just super pretty! When you take a break you are supposed to slum it ;>

Is your hair longer? I like it like this.

  • replied 11 years ago

Oooh, pretty! Somehow that little bit of black or navy at the neckline just makes the pastels all the more delish.
Pants look good to my eye both ways.

  • Laura replied 11 years ago

Anna, you wear mint sooooo well! I hope you feel that your mojo is back soon, because it certainly looks that way.

  • Caro in Oz replied 11 years ago

Fabulous outfit. Hope today goes well.

  • Jamie replied 11 years ago

Too cute!!! Not kidding.....I just saw almost the exact outfit in the new Garnet Hill catalogue.

  • abc replied 11 years ago

This is one of my favorite outfits of yours. I like it unrolled best but both look great. Those colors are really flattering on you. Hope all goes well with Dad and Dr.

  • Ginkgo replied 11 years ago

You look fantastic in these colors, and I like how the color in the sweater picks up the color of your hair. This seems like an illustration of "how to wear pastels" -- beautiful! And the leopard flats keep sweetness at bay.

  • CocoLion replied 11 years ago

Like the others, I love this. You got into mint last year and I'm glad that color is even stronger this year than last. I like the pants both ways rolled and un-rolled, really can't decide.

I was wondering where you were, missing your posts and outfits. Your participation in the forum is very valuable. I hope you are feeling OK.

  • bj1111 replied 11 years ago

anna! so glad you're back, my style inspiration. tough being the dutiful daughter.

smidge preference for the rolled, but i like highwaters and don't stress the ppl.

  • rute replied 11 years ago

    I love, love This outfit!!

  • kellygirl replied 11 years ago

I think it's superb! You look so good in pastels. Makes me want to try it but I know my dark hair will cause havoc. I don't think you have ever lost your mojo btw.

  • Nicole D replied 11 years ago

Team Rolled. You look fresh as a daisy. I should have known you would be an early adopter of mint.

  • siniestra replied 11 years ago

first time i see u in light colors and u look lean and cool with the whole outfit specially the touch of print !!! making ur statement u own it ;)

  • Aida replied 11 years ago

Well hello gorgeous! I could be sold on pastels from this look alone, superb. Prefer the unrolled version :)

  • Jaime replied 11 years ago

Love! You look interesting and beautiful! (Prefer unrolled also.)

  • annagybe replied 11 years ago

Thanks everyone. I couldn't find my mint clutch so I used my white calf hair cross body.

  • Mamapicklejuice replied 11 years ago

Well, hello, gorgeous! I don't know how you do it, Anna. Pastels are old lady and little girl and Easter all rolled up in one and you make them look anything but. Simple, fresh, fabulous!

  • AJ replied 11 years ago

Minty fresh!! Luv it! Your mojo only went out for mojitos...it's back and feeling fine!!

As others have said, pastels look so FAB on you! Embrace this color trend and run with it!

Hope your appointments yesterday went well. You're a great daughter to care for your dad. Kudos!
