WIW 1/29 AllSorts goes to the pub

I was inspired by K.Period and MaryK take on candy. For the record I HATE black licorice.

I tried so many variations. First my one stripey shirt was a high crewneck and looked really bad on this low vneck. Then I was trying to figure out the jeans.
So uh, here it is in all its heavily accessorized matchy matchy glory.
Ancient 3dots cashmere sweater, necklace from local boutique, zebra belt, my stripes, I think from Target, True Religion Cameron jeans, pink and clear heeled Maison Martin Margiela ankle boots.
Going to a pub meet up for food and drink.

Well now we know how to make pink edgy! I love this and hope you have a glorious time (and do not stand too long on those gorgeous heels)!

  • Suz replied 6 years ago

    So. Much. Fun.

Only you would have the pieces to do this.

You look radiant in that pink.

  • catgirl replied 6 years ago

What Suz said. I love the denim grounding it all.

  • El Cee replied 6 years ago

Spectacular! You look radiant in that pink shade. I love the match-matchy maximal fabness of this outfit. Your accessories really make the outfit sing. The necklace is stunning. Love the pop of zebra. Even your boots look like allsorts candy. Creative, fun, fantastic! Kudos… and enjoy your night out.

Looks good, hope your feet aren't too sore at the end of the night!

  • Susie replied 6 years ago

So fun! You look great in the pink and the boots are too fab.

Wow Anna!  It's all been said.

You look beautiful!  Pic 2 is so good!
Those boots are amazing!  Have fun!

  • E replied 6 years ago

Oh! That flash of pink in the heels just makes the outfit. :D I love all the matchy matchy details, and you look stunning: fashionable but casual enough for a pub. Go you!

(And I think we have the same bookshelves! Mine are from Ikea.)

    Lots of appeal here :)

This is incredible, Anna!  The pink stripe in the heel of the boots is that perfect little finishing detail that just sends it over the top into fabulousness.  You are always so good at those little style details.

I hate licorice too but I gotta say you are making it look mighty appealing right now.  =)

  • Sarah A replied 6 years ago

I love the details in the pink boot heels and necklace how you carry that theme through the outfit. (And thanks for linking the inspirations too... so much fun to see how each person puts her special style into a concept)

I am impressed by that sweater - why can't all sweaters hold up like that and also flatter like that? Great color, nice counterpoint to the ripped jeans.

  • Joy replied 6 years ago

Love this on you!! The necklace nicely bookends your amazing ankle boots. Feminine yet tough.

Things I NEVER expected to see in my lifetime: An Anna spin-off of something I wore!  My smile is so big right now, my face hurts!

You look beautiful, Anna! Great combo with the zebra belt and the hot pink sweater and the candy shoes.  Oh my! I'm totally candy crushin'  on this outfit.  Gorgeous!

  • Neel replied 6 years ago

If ever you find your shoes missing .... I would be one of the suspects :D. Cool outfit!

  • Gigi replied 6 years ago

I love your "unexpected" elements...especially the zebra belt and shoes. The shoes are beyond fab!

I love everything about this!  One of your best ever, and that's really saying something!

    SO FUN!!!

  • Lucy replied 6 years ago

    So perfect! Love.
    Those shoes. Whew. Just awesome.

  • Elizabeth P replied 6 years ago

I absolutely love this... the jeans stop it looking too girly girly, and those BOOTS!  to die for.  Love the unexpected, well, everything.

  • viva replied 6 years ago

Such a fun outfit. Those heels are just amazing!

  • carambola replied 6 years ago

Wow. The necklace, belt and boots (oh, those boots) are just so perfect for this look. Love how the distressed jeans keep it from being too girly. I share your hatred of black licorice.

I love love LOVE all of this!   You look edgy and sexy and approachable.   My guy friends would pester me for an introduction if we went out :)

Those boots are to DIE for!

  • AviaMariah replied 6 years ago

This is so much fun!  The boots are great!

  • ramya replied 6 years ago

I am so copying this outfit. Now if only I had your edgy skills. For all you know mine will turn out to be extremely girly.

  • Thistle replied 6 years ago

So much fun!  I love that color pink on you, and the sweater is a lovely juxtaposition against the jeans.

Now, to discuss how uber, super cool those boots are!!! They are drool worthy for sure.

You spend money on your shoes and boy does it show! It makes all the difference to wear outrageous shoes and you do it so well!

  • cciele replied 6 years ago

Love it! I actually don't get a matchy matchy feeling from it. Everything just works together as intended. And the heels of those shoes, how cool is that!
