I love the skirt down to the awesome oxfords. I don't like the white shirt and jacket as much but I can't put my finger on exactly what isn't working for me.

I hope you have a great time!

What I love about this, is that it is a traditional look, kind of a skirt suit feel. But all of the pieces are so interesting, it makes an unexpected and fabulous combo. Black and gold oxfords, divine!

I like the oxfords with the full, girly skirt - I think they're sort of irreverent - and therefore perfectly appropriate for the show :) which btw I am SO excited to see when it is in Toronto next summer!

    Very fab outfit!

Tina.b hit on what I like about this too. Those shoes are a particularly brilliant touch.

The pairing of the gold oxfords with the girly skirt is nothing short of brilliant!

I like the flat forms - I think they are flat forms - with the outfit! The shirt looks fab too. LOVE the skirt.

I LOVE this outfit! Lovely skirt!

  • rae replied 6 years ago

"Hello, my name is Sister Anna, and I would like to share with you the most amazing book -- er, look!!"

You look fab and you are going to love the show!! Have fun!!

Thanks, everyone. MaryK, you made me snicker.
Ceit, I chose the the white button down shirt because Mormon men on mission wear white button down shirts. The name plate necklace is because they always wear name tags.

Oh, I love it. It has this parochial school uniform vibe, so awesome!

  • Thistle replied 6 years ago

It feels like a cross between the Mormon missionaries and Anna's unique style. I love it! That skirt is great, especially with the Oxfords.

Oh, I know, I got that, it just didn't work for me visually :)

  • rachylou replied 6 years ago

Hmm. It IS nun chic. Gotta luv it!

So jealous of your necklace. Gotta luv that too!

  • MsMary replied 6 years ago

Anna, so fun! I wore a tribute to the missionaries when I went to see "BOM," too: http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....tre-outfit

SO FUN!! And now I have all those hilarious songs in my head!

Awesome! I love the oxfords with the full skirt. And the nameplate necklace is genius!

  • cciele replied 6 years ago

Very clever! And I love the skirt with those oxfords.

    Nun chic!!!!

That cracked me up Rachylou! Actually my style is kind of "nun chic" now that I think of it :)

Love the look, esp. the shoes and am INSANELY jealous that you were able to score tickets. In SF, they were completely sold out for the entire run in MINUTES.

Book of Perfect. Clearly Mormon inspired but not too costumey. Shoes have got me drooling.
