  I think it looks great--killer boots! Since you reversed the proportions a bit (long jeans/shorter vest  vs short skirt/long vest) It still has a nice balance to my eye.......pretty sweater looks so comfy!

  I just love that sweater. It's great with the boots. Leopard is starting to grow on me, esp. as an accent for black and white.

  I like the boots.  I'd love to see this vest with a flowy top in an outfit remix, perhaps a light colored blouse?

  The vest looks too small to me with the chunky sweater, but I like your twist on the look. Great boots!

  I'm also not sure on the vest, but I do love the rest of the look! I think with the chunkier sweater you're right that a longer (or more oversized) vest might work better. The boots are super fun with this outfit

  I kept it on all day. The woman at the Dr. Marten's store liked my boots. 
  I had an interesting encounter with a very polite pamphleter from the Jehovah Witness's. He liked my red lipstick and horned beanie.

  Great look! I like your interpretation even better than the pinspiration photo. I think it is those fab boots and red lips that take it up a notch.
