WIW 10/21 tigers go to happy hour

Going out to happy hour with Jenava after work today. Wearing Kenzo tiger sweater, the navy sections are actually a open knit. R13 harem jeans, and navy suede Elizabeth and James heeled lace-up booties. Trying to decide if the booties are still on trend. Over it Phillip Lim 3.1 navy oversized bomber and Undercover BRUIT beanie.
Bonus shot of the otters at the zoo.

ETA if you don't like my outfits, that's fine, I'm not everyone's cup of tea. But if you can't be nice or constructive about the criticism then please withhold your comment.

Great casual outfit. You can really rock a beanie. (I am jealous.)

  • Thistle replied 10 years ago

I really love #3. I know it means having the jacket and beanie on, but something about it just pulls everything together so well!  Maybe it is the bookending of the booties and the hat and the bomber tying it all together.  I also like the way the white belt mirrors the white stripe in the hat. So fab!!

As an aside, I love watching the otters at the zoo. They are always so playful!

Hey, did you change your hair?  I don't remember you as strawberry blonde.  I like it.

  • annagybe replied 10 years ago

No, it's not strawberry blonde, just the poor pre-dawn light in my place.

I think you look so happy, AG!  I love everything but those harem jeans (as you know, I'll shut up now), but with the jacket over and that hilarious hat, all is good.

Did you really wear those heels to the zoo?

  • annagybe replied 10 years ago

No the zoo picture was from a few weeks ago. I just thought it was a cute picture. I wore flat riding boots at the zoo.

Great outfit, Anna! Love the Kenzo top, especially :)

Love it!  I agree that the beanie and bomber are the icing on the cake!

  • MsMary replied 10 years ago

And also?  It's good to see you posting again!  I've missed your fabness!  :)

Great to see you again -- been missing you.

I echo what Thistle said. I love the sweater with your hair -- fun echo of tones. But the outfit truly takes flight with the coat and beanie. WOW!

Have fun with the gorgeous Jeneva!

I agree with others that somehow the hat, beanie and boots look great together.  But of course, you don't want to wear a hat and coat inside the bar all night.  The sweater looks good on its own as well.

  • kkards replied 10 years ago

cannot comment on the trendyness of the boots, but the combo of the boots and the rolled jeans and the tucked shirt, is giving you a very long and lean look. FAB!

I really like this tiger sweater and think the boots are excellent. The proportions of each piece work really well with the proportions of the other pieces. Colour plays a big role too. If the boots were white, it occurs to me they'd look disproportionally over-sized for the sweater.

Big thumbs up from me too, Anna. Love this with the Kenzo sweater, and wow, your hair has gotten so long! What a sweet pic of the otters, thanks for sharing it. And have fun with Jenava, of course.

YLF - I've been missing your posts too :)

Have fun! I love your top and boots.

I am coveting that sweater.  So cool!

  • Nicole D replied 10 years ago

Sweater is to die for! Really droolworthy. And love the hat. Otters are always appropriately dressed in waterproof fur.

  • DonnaF replied 10 years ago

I would really love to see a close-up of that sweater.  I'm feeling frustrated not being able to really see the pattern and its tigerishness.  :(

  • Tierra replied 10 years ago

I'm a newbie, and I can only see the tiny thumbnail picture… But that's enough! Your outfit is so cool. :-)
You are one who's photos I always stop and look at… Can't wait to get all the pictures back!

  • Janet replied 10 years ago

The tones in that sweater look fantastic on you with your hair and coloring. Nice to see you again!

  • missvee replied 10 years ago

Love the top. I think a cognac coloured belt would look great too.

  • shemarie replied 10 years ago

You look wonderful, again! I love studying your outfits because I learn SO much. In my all-consuming need to understand color, I'm thinking that the pretty golden tones of that great sweater, the light belt, and the lighter-wash jeans all flow together and tie in with your pretty hair and coloring, while the dark booties are balanced by your coat and hat?  It all just works! Maybe, just maybe, I'm starting to understand?! :-) Thanks for being an inspiration!

Wow, you look evren better than the description read, and I was already nodding with excitement. The longer loose hair somehow brings you into the print and makes a tigress of you.
