WIW 9/14 Lunch al fresco

A rare gloriously warm and sunny mid-September day in Seattle.
Had lunch on the deck at Ray's Cafe. Which I have decided has one of the best
two clam chowder's in Seattle. The other being the Steelhead Diner (site of
Ingefest luncheon).
Wearing a grey t-shirt that has an outline of Washington state
and says "home." I found it very amusing that home
is just a bit below the period. I got it from a local boutique and even bought
an extra to ship to a high school classmate who now lives in Utah. With R13
leather chap jeans, Acne Studios white suede Pistol boots, Target mixed chain
and pearl necklace, Marc Jacobs sunglasses and Lanvin bag.

WIW 9/13 Birthday Party Edition

It's my birthday! I'm hosting a small party at my place. The theme is "It's my birthday and I'm cheesed off". Well not really but I'm serving two different cheeses. My first degree came from Washington State University and the have an on campus dairy that they produce cheese and ice cream made by students. The Cougar Gold is very famous and hard to get.

WIW 9/10 Minimal Hard Edge

I've been inspired by the more minimal looks of Just Another. She also wears a lot of mini skirts. So I decided to pull my black denim H&M mini skirt out of the purge pile. Wearing with Skingraft sculpted shoulder leather jacket, chiffon trimmed tank, LD Tuttle perforated ankle boots, and Boyy embossed snake trimmed bag.
I had to fight my inclination to add jewelry and a bold lip. Wearing Mac's Viva Glam II.
Going out after work to celebrate a friend's birthday. The card I found her says "Today may you not feel over scheduled and under Chardonnayed" We both like wine, so I thought it was hilarious.

WIW 8/31 Hipster Donut edition

So today I visited Blue Star Donuts in Portland. Had a passion fruit cocoa nib donut, my friend had cointreau creme brulee. Stood in a huge 1/2 hour plus line. We decided that the passion fruit was better.
Wearing Helmut Lang jacket, R13 cotton cashmere tee, ASOS leather shorts, Acne pony hair hat, Givenchy lace sneakers.

ETA Blue Star was right around the corner from SoleStruck's retail front. I didn't even window shop. Still held to Austere August.
